My week end at Straddie, ou comment raconter une aventure à trois voix

Les souvenirs de Coo ("Corentin" prononcé par les copains australiens)

Nous sommes partis vendredi à STRADBROKE ISLAND. Quand nous sommes arrivés il faisait nuit, nous nous sommes baladés sur la plage. Le lendemain nous avons marché toute la journée et on a mangé dans un restaurant . Lors de la marche nous avons eu la chance de voir une dizaine de kangourous, une tortue de mer, ainsi qu'un incroyable saut de baleine. Nous nous sommes baignés dans l'eau salée et avons mangé une crème glacée. Nous sommes rentrés à l'hôtel en stop (séparés en 2 groupes pour faire la course et pour pouvoir rentrer dans les voitures) et nous avons dormi dans une auberge de jeunesse. 

Le lendemain nous avons plié bagage et sommes partis dans la forêt où nous avons vu un koala. Nous avons encore mangé au restaurant et avons participé à un super jeu en forêt organisé par Sébastien. Avant de rentrer nous sommes allés nous baigner avec des dauphins. Puis nous avons pris le bateau et avons assisté à un magnifique couché de soleil. C'était magnifique et j'ai adoré ce week end. C'était super.

Stradbroke Island by Justin

When we went to Stradbroke island we took a FERRY.
In the forest we saw a KOALA in a tree which is called an eucalyptus. It is the first time that I see a KOALA in the WILD !!!!
We went to a hotel called Manta and my family and I slept into a bunk bed. 
We saw some WHALES, some DOLPHINS, some KANGOUROUS and one SEA TORTOISE in the wild!!!!!!!
With my cousin Corentin we saw a jellyfish on the beach and we saved it and put it back in the sea.  ***   I LOVED MY WEEK END !   ***

My weekend at Stradbroke Island by Maya

We slept at the hostel for 2 days. We all slept in the same room. We were just next to the beach. 

We walked to the top of the sandhill and saw many whales and dolphins. It was difficult to walk.
We saw the tail and the spout of the whales. They jumped over the waves. We didn't have the time to take some photos so I drew some pictures of what I saw. 

We saw a shark sign that said to be careful of the sharks. I wanted to see a shark but I was a bit scared. We did not see a shark. It was great fun.

Le week end est maintenant terminé, les bagages rangés: place à la semaine. On commence en beauté avec l'anniv de Corentin!

Vous êtes tous les trois épatants et vos récits sont magnifiques. Bravo à vous. Je me régale et rêve de voir autant d’animaux. Un jour prochain. Corentin nous écrira un texte en anglais bientôt . . . Je n’oublie pas de féliciter Justin pour ses progrès bien fêtés à l’ecole Que d’évènements en si peu de temps. Bravo encore. Lo
